My wife Sarah and I moved to Brazos County when our oldest, Jordan Rae, was only five months old so I could accept Rod Anderson's offer to join him at the Brazos County Attorney's Office in serving this community. Sarah began her career at Celebrity Spa & Salon where she continues as a director.
Jordan was joined a few years later by our son Parker Lee and they continue to be the lights of my life. I am grateful to this community for providing me with an incredible place to raise my family and can't see them growing up anywhere else.
I serve as a chief trial prosecutor for the Brazos County Attorney's Office, meaning in addition to fighting in the courtroom I supervise a team of prosecutors, investigators and support staff. I train new team members joining the office, advise and train law enforcement professionals, and touch every aspect of the business handled by the Brazos County Attorney. I also proud to serve on the Brazos County Specialty/Drug Court Team, working with the judiciary, district attorney, and others to see that we continue to put our best foot forward in protecting and serving Brazos County.
Raised in Quanah, Texas, I've always felt like a small-town guy who appreciates that Bryan/College Station always manages to feel like a close-knit rural community even as our population continues to explode. We aren't Houston, Dallas, or Austin -- and I promise to do my part to keep it that way.
Upholding the law isn't something that ends at the courthouse steps in my world. If you've been to any high school football games in the Brazos Valley in the last few years, chances are you've seen me on the field. I've served on the Executive Board for the College Station Chapter of the Texas Official of Sports Officials for football and never miss a fall under the Friday night lights.
